PWC publishes Philippines advertising forecast
TV Advertising is forecast to grow by USD 478m (+24%) from 2019 to 2023. Digital Video Advertising is expected to increase by USD 123m (+126%)
The most recent Global Entertainment & Media Outlook published by PriceWaterhouse Coopers (PWC) outlines the video advertising forecast for the Philippines until 2023.
Digital video advertising is expected to more than double over the period (+USD 123m) and reach a total investment level of USD 221m in 2023.
The traditional TV advertising sector adds according to PWC USD 478m to its pie (total TV ad market size of USD 2.45bn in 2023) and thus remains the most popular and the most reliable medium for advertisers to reach their target groups in the Philippines.
It all looks to us as if the combo between linear TV ads and digital video ads is the most efficient way for advertisers to reach their target groups.
