Influencers have been crying high and low about Instagram’s latest (beta) rollout.
Instagram is testing out a new feature in Australia where it conceals the number of likes a post receives. Does this mean the end for Instagram influencers?
The move has a split response so far. Whilst some influencers criticized this new feature for limiting their engagement scope; others praised Instagram for leaping forward in engaging with the psychological wellbeing of people.

Mia Garlick, the Director of policy for Facebook, notes that the new feature rollout intends for Instagram users to be free from judgment and help people focus less on likes and more on telling their stories.
This move has the potential to dramatically change the commercial and cultural landscape of social media platforms.
